My Song

October 26, 2011

Growing up, we always had musical instruments lying around the house, and it made a big impact on me and Laura. This is a song I wrote when I was about seven. I’m sharing it with you because I think its message is as true today as it was back then. Share this:EmailPrintFacebookTwitter

Behold, I Show You a Mystery

October 20, 2011

Please familiarize yourself with gouldian finch color variations before reading this.  I would do it for your blog. “As you know,” I have many Gouldian finches.  Well, fifteen, which isn’t really that many in finch terms.  Although I don’t separate them into separate cages by sex, I do try to keep them from hatching out a million [...]

Big, Bad James Garfunkel Bonanza

October 5, 2011

My friend Hayes has found out what James Garfunkel (subject of a massive That Looks Cozy profile a few months ago) is up to: he’s in a reality show with his trollman-friend. The show’s producers? A Real-Time Warning

September 21, 2011

I will kill anyone who gets in the way of my bidding on this book:   Clem Clam was very important to me and my siblings when we were little.  This is the only copy of the book left on earth, and it will be mine in 88 minutes IF EVERYONE ELSE KEEPS AWAY.   (Fortunately, I have a thing [...]

Why Laura’s Been Away

September 21, 2011

Laura’s been away, if I may speak for her, because she’s been busy getting married: …and is now enjoying her honeymoon with Kevin in Buenos Aires: Her cousin Sally learned to tightrope-walk in Buenos Aires, so Laura thought she’d “give it a go.” Share this:EmailPrintFacebookTwitter
